The International Students' Club
The International Students' Club at ENIT provides assistance to international students on the ENIT campus. It is based on a principle of cultural exchange between students of the school and students from our partner universities across the EU and around the world.
Because our hosts have sometimes travelled thousands of kilometres to join us, we organise outings to the mountains and the beach, as well as trips to allow them to have a broader view of our country and culture, not just the region where our school is located.
In the same way, we organize evenings in a "pub" in town to gather together the international community in the region as well as evenings in students' homes to unite international students with their French colleagues.
A non-French student’s time abroad can sometimes be fraught with general misunderstanding about both language and culture. What may be simple for a French person can be more difficult for anyone who is not accustomed to the country’s ways of doing things. The International Club understands this and provides continuous support to international students in their quest to understand and learn the French way!
A stay abroad is an opportunity to develop professionally and personally and to form new friendships. It is the philosophy of the International Club that a good studying environment offers the best conditions for academic and professional development. That is why we strive to make your stay as enjoyable as possible so you will leave with a feeling of achievement both personally and professionally.
Among other things, you will have a buddy – a student at ENIT – who will introduce you to life as a student in France.
The students are always engaged in several activities and you are, of course, more than welcome to participate in them. Among the many activities there are weekly parties and sporting events which are great ways to have a good time and to get to know the other students.
Other activities include:
• Hiking and skiing in the nearby Pyrenees
• Trips to special places such as Paris, Biarritz, Lourdes or The Futuroscope, a theme park, in Poitiers...
• Perhaps most importantly, regular get-togethers with other ENIT students
