The first-class 5-year training runs for 10 semesters of studies which focus on business issues. The MEng course includes three intensive periods of work in industry (two internships and one final year project) which make up 30% of the total course workload.

ENIT education focuses primarily on relationships with companies. Training is strongly focused on the job environment, as 25% of  students' training takes place in a corporate environment.

ENIT students are required to undertake 3 work placements as part of their training:

  • Industrial work placement in Semester 3 : a 10-week-long work placement in industry. Technician level.

Next term 12/11/2018 to 18/01/2019

  • Industrial work experience in Semester 6 : a 20-week-long training work placement (6th semester). Assistant Engineer level.

Current term : 05/02/2018 to 22/06/2018

Next term : 03/09/2018 to 18/01/2019

  • Final-year project in Semester 10 : a 20-week-long final-year project (10th semester). Engineer level

Current term : 16/04/2018 to 22/06/2018

Next term : 03/09/2018 to 25/01/2019

ENIT also proposes that the student's final year is spent as a salaried employee with a job contract at a company.

Each year, companies such as AIRBUS, AKKA Technologies, ALTRAN, BOSCH, BOUYGUES, CAPGEMINI and SOCATA welcome and train our students.

Students may also carry out their work placements abroad, thus enabling them to demonstrate their ability to work in other countries.

The semester-based course syllabus enables us to have two graduation ceremonies a year (one in January and one in July) and arrange for students to have company work placements throughout the year.

The purpose of the work placements organised in the first part of the course (S3 technician level work placement and S6 assistant engineer work placement) is to familiarise the student with the industrial milieu, enable them to address a technical topic and receive educational support.

The Final Year Project puts the student in a professional situation by confronting them with the reality of an industrial project and providing them with the opportunity to prove their ability to work as  an engineer.
