European Project Semester (EPS) ANNUAL PROVIDERS MEETING

The National Engineering School of Tarbes was delighted to host the European Project Semester (EPS) annual providers meeting on October 2021. EPS enables students and staff from member organisations to benefit from the exchange experience and develop a cultural awareness as well as enhancing skills and sharing good practice.

Tuesday 19th October :
From 19:30: for those arriving in Tarbes early and wishing to meet up for a drink, ENIT
staff will be at: “Bar L’Europe” (Place Verdun, Tarbes)
Wednesday 20th October :
09:00 – 09:30 Welcome & Coffee at ENIT (CRTCI building)
09:30 – 09:45 Opening address (Pr. Jean-Yves Fourquet, Dean of ENIT)
09:45 – 10:00 Programme for the three days / information (P. Fuentes / F. Duco)
10:00 – 12:30 EPS Mid-term presentations
12:30 – 13:30 Buffet lunch with EPS students, providers and ENIT staff (salle du Conseil)
13:30 – 15:30 Scientific meeting between ENIT researchers and EPS providers
Topics: 3D printing, virtual reality, robotics, recycling of marine plastic
15:30 – 17:00 Tour of ENIT (CRTCI, LGP, AGROMAT, villa and so on)
17:00 – 19:30 Free time for EPS providers
From 19:30 Dinner in Tarbes city centre: “L’Europe” (Place Verdun, Tarbes)
Thursday 21th October:
07:45 – 09:45 Bus from Tarbes city centre to La Mongie (ski resort station)
09:45 – 10:00 Access by cable car to “Pic du Midi de Bigorre – 2877m”

17:30 – 17:45 Return by cable car to La Mongie
17:45 – 19:15 Return by bus to Tarbes
19:15 – Free evening for EPS providers
Precautions for Pic du Midi: Given the weather conditions and the high altitude, it is highly advisable that visitors have appropriate clothing.
